Subjects for Coarse books seems to be chosen to make good presents. Many that I own have “Many Happy Returns” inscribed on the front page.
In the late 60’s and early 70’s bridge parties were a popular middle class entertainment. If you are a bridge player, then you might find this book very funny, but if you don’t understand the rules, and more importantly the nuances of bidding you might struggle, as I do.
